American pop singer Katy Perry has sparked rumours that she is set to marry her boyfriend Travis Mccoy after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

The long-term lovers split in December last year but they reconciled this April.

Now it looks as if the pair could be taking the relationship to the next level after Perry was seen on an evening out in Los Angeles last week sporting a sparkler on her left hand, reported a news website.

Renee Zellweger insists age plays no role in her acting career

American actress Renee Zellweger has revealed that she does not believe getting older will affect her acting career, as with her quirky appearance she will always be offered acting roles.

Zellweger, who turned 40 in April this year, was asked whether she noticed that the more exciting roles were drying up, and she replied that she didn’t.

“It’s so hard to comment because I don’t see it. I don’t know. I’m so spoiled with respect to the experiences I’ve had and the opportunities I’ve had that I don’t see it,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“I’ve never been that girl who is dependant on how fabulous my hair is or my stature or that I look good in order to work. So I don’t really think about it in those terms,” she said.

The actress insists that the only bad thing about turning 40 is that people are expecting her to feel differently about life.

“I’m so sad that everyone keeps pointing to this birthday, ‘You had this birthday, how do you feel now?’ I’m thinking, ‘I feel nothing different’,” she added.

Robert Pattinson says he couldn’t get a date before ‘Twilight’

Robert Pattinson might be one of Hollywood`s most desirable men, but he used to have trouble when it came to the opposite sex.

The ‘Twilight’ star has revealed that he hasn’t had that much luck when it comes to women.

The 23-year-old heartthrob says that before his starring role in the hit movie ‘Twilight’ catapulted him to fame, he struggled to find a date and hasn’t had much experience of love.

“Last year I wasn’t even able to get a date and now it seems women have changed their minds about me," the Daily Telegraph quoted him as having told OK! magazine.

Pattinson will be returning as Edward Cullen in the latest instalment of the ‘Twilight’ series.

Watson ‘makes smooth transition from actress to student’

‘Harry Potter’ star Emma Watson seems to have made a smooth transition from her glamorous life as an actress to a simple life of a student.The 19-year-old beauty was spotted wearing a simple white T-shirt, denim shorts, and trainers in her campus at Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island.

She apparently looked happy and relaxed under the sun as she chilled with her friends.

Watson also passed all her A-levels with straight A grades.

She even believes that going to university will make her a better actress.

“I actually think going to university will make me a better actress,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

She added: “It sounds so geeky, but I really do like studying and reading, and if I’m not working on Harry Potter, then my greatest relaxation is to sit with a book.”

Watson is taking a degree in literature.
