I want to settle down in Mumbai: Shruti Haasan

Her debut movie ‘Luck’ bombed at the box office, but the film`s failure hasn`t detterred Shruti Haasan from making Mumbai her home and trying hard to get a foothold in the Hindi film industry."I actually wanted my debut film to be a Tamil movie, but it wasn`t to be. Whatever might have been the response to `Luck`, I feel that I should settle down in Mumbai to seek greener pastures in Bollywood," Shruti, who is planning to buy an apartment in central Mumbai, told reporters.

Her mother, actress Sarika, also lives in Mumbai. But the two are not on talking terms as Sarika is upset with Shruti for having a close relationship with her ex-husband Kamal Haasan`s partner Gauthami.

"My mother doesn`t like my friendship with Gauthami Madam. She is angry with me because of this count and avoids speaking to me. I`m not bothered about that," she said.

Shruti, who sung popular number "Nenjukkul Peithidum..." in "Vaaranam Aayiram" and composed music for her father`s forthcoming bilingual film "Unnaipol Oruvan", says her father is her biggest support in life.

"I want to explore the whole world and I have my daddy`s full cooperation in this. I have self-drawn boundaries which I`d never attempt to cross," she said.

Jordan claims Pete Andre dating ‘Mysterious Girl’

Katie Price a.k.a Jordan has alleged that estranged hubby Peter Andre is secretly dating.The Sun quoted her as saying in a TV show: "It hasn`t come out yet - and I just hope he`s happy."

The 31-year-old also accused the Aussie singer of hating her.

Jordan said: "I think Pete has more hatred for me than anything."

However, Andre’s rep agent Claire Powell has dismissed all allegations of the Mysterious Girl singer seeing someone.

Powell said: "He`s not seeing anyone."

Noel Gallagher ‘to reveal all about brother bust-up on TV show’

Oasis star Noel Gallagher may soon disclose everything about his bust-up with brother Liam on a TV show.Oasis had split last week after Noel and Liam reportedly had a violent tiff.

The 42-year-old Noel had said that he suffered “verbal and violent intimidation”.

Now, Piers Morgan is playing all his cards to get Noel on his hit show Piers Morgan``s Life Stories.

Morgan wants to uncover the split in the band and the issues between the two brothers.

The Daily Star quoted a show insider as saying: “It’s the interview everyone wants to see.

“Noel and Liam haven’t been shy in having a public slanging match, but there is much more happening behind the scenes than anyone can even imagine.

“Piers is the perfect interviewer to get to the heart of what has been going on.”

Brinkley’s ex-hubby Cook says bitter divorce battle revived his career

American model Christie Brinkley’s ex-husband Peter Cook is said to have benefited from the publicity surrounding their divorce last year, with the bitter court battle reviving his career.Cook, an architect, and Brinkley endured a lengthy break-up, during which the model accused him of harbouring a porn addiction.

The two, who share two children, had split after the model learned of her husband’s 2004 affair with a teenage assistant, hearing the details from her love rival’s concerned parents.

But Cook insists he has not suffered too badly from the high-profile divorce, because it’s made him a richer man.

“I had the best two years of business during my divorce for some reason, maybe it was because I had some international business as well. After all I went through, not even a ripple in my business,” the Daily Express quoted him as telling the New York Post.

The divorce was finalised in Suffolk County, New York on October 3 last year.
