Bollywood’s original heartbreaker kid Salman Khan may be notorious for his explosive mood swings and string of romantic liaisons with B-town hotties, but when it comes to religion, the hunk of an actor believes in one God.
According to latest Bollywood news, Salman is a firm believer in Lord Ganesh inspite of being a Muslim. With his father (Salim Khan) a Muslim, first mother (Salma) a Maharashtrian Brahmin and second (Helen) being a devout Catholic, the actor celebrates Ganpati, Christmas, Eid and Diwali with equal fervour.
This year, with Ganesh Utsav and Ramadan falling in the same month, the Sallu ‘Khandaan’ is all set to celebrate the auspicious festivals and hold Iftaars as well as Ganpati aarti.
While talking to a news daily, when enquired about his religious views, Salman said, “My house is a place for all kinds of worship. God is one, the route we take to connect with Him is different, par manzil toh ek hai .” The actor was truly philosophical when he said, “He has given me everything... how much more greedy should I become.”
While talking about his latest release, ‘Wanted’ especially its Ganesh Utsav song ‘Jalwa’, Salman was all praises. The song was choreographed by Prabhudeva and Rajiv Surti and was shot over ten days with two hundred dancers. He said, “It’s really amazing to see the dance steps I have done. I can’t believe that it’s me in the song, dancing like this, yakeen hi nahin hota ki aisa bhi kuch ho sakta hai ! Prabhu is also in this song. As per my dancing capacity, what I’ve done is great, but itna bhi great nahin as compared to Prabhu!”
