Popstar Lilly Allen mixed her two passions, music and cricket, when she enjoyed a cricket match with `Rolling Stones` legend Mick Jagger and drummer Charlie Watts.

Allen and Watts seemed to be having a good time as they joined the crowd at Lord`s to watch England face off with traditional rivals Australia, the Sun reported.

The duo were later joined by rock icon Mick Jagger and the hell raising trio were seen daintily sipping cups of tea while enjoying the cricketing action.

However, the 24-year-old singer`s love for the `Gentleman`s game` was not enough for the English team as they lost the match to their counterparts from down under.

Lily Allen grateful to get back kidnapped pal

Lily Allen has revealed that she is grateful to have her friend back after a “terrifying” kidnap plot.

Three men were held guilty of demanding 90,000 pounds ransom in return for the return of two shopworkers, one of them a friend of the star.

The victims were taken away at gunpoint from a sports shop in London last year and held captive for more than a week, reports a news daily.

A relieved Lily turned to the Internet to express her relief after the rescue.

The 24-year-old wrote on her blog: “Thank you for getting my friend back, we were terrified.”

Three other London men had already confessed to their part in the plot and are due to be sentenced next month.

Lily Allen’s beau gets ‘angry’ about the time she spends on Twitter

Chart babe Lily Allen has revealed that the amount of time she spends “Twittering” often leavers her boyfriend “angry”.

According to the Daily Star, the 24-year-old star said that builder Sam Cooper snapped at her: “Do we have to have one-and-a-half million people with us?”

The newspaper report also highlighted the fact that Lily’s recent Ashes blogs won her a spot on the BBC’s Test Match Special radio show.

Meanwhile, according to reports, the British singer has revealed that she regrets making an album on her former lovers, as her saucy lyrics “scared” off potential boyfriends.

Allen, who split from art dealer Jay Jopling at the beginning of the year, was single when she released ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ in February.

The album included the hit song ‘Not Fair’, which detailed an ex-boyfriend’s poor performance in bed.

British singer Lily Allen, who got nervous during a concert in Finland, claims she isn`t a super confident woman and that she desperately wants to walk away from the showbiz to be a wife and mom.

Dailystar.co.uk reports that Allen had a brief moment gripped by fear before the V performance recently. She refused to leave her dressing room and during her performance she said "I`m really nervous".

"People think I`m this super confident person who`s all for female empowerment but it`s not true. I have every intention of becoming a suburban mum. I want to get married and have children," she said.

Allen added that being chased by photographers is "not a life I want".

Lily Allen confesses to being obsessive about cricket

British singer Lily Allen has confessed that she is obsessive about cricket, and just cannot stop talking about it all the time.

Allen, 24, who was spotted cheering at the Ashes during England’s victory, also revealed what she found so fascinating about the game.

“I am obsessed with cricket - I twitter about it all the time. I played in Holland on Friday, got on a bus overnight and then drove to The Oval on Saturday,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“I was trying to listen to the cricket in Amsterdam. I was screaming: ‘Australia are all out!’

“I first got interested in cricket about the time I heard Freddie Flintoff had a wee in the Prime Minster`s garden at Downing Street. No, seriously, I followed the 2005 Ashes - my dad is really into it and used to play. The girls would sit in the pavilion making sandwiches and the boys would play cricket.

“I’m an entertainer and my shows last an hour and it’s all very quick - life in the fast lane.

“But I’m not into one-day cricket or Twenty20, I’m into Test matches. I love the five-day slog. I think the Ashes should be seven or nine Test matches rather than five. It should be all-out war all summer".

“I’m a traditionalist. I like the beauty of the game, the whites against the green, and the slow pace. I like so many things about cricket,” she added.

Lily Allen confirms new romance with contractor Sam Cooper

British pop star Lily Allen has gone public with her romance and confirmed that she’s going out with contractor Sam Cooper.

The couple were spotted getting cosy publicly at the final Ashes cricket test at the Kennington Oval in London.

Recently Allen also put up posts on her Twitter.com blog to clear that Cooper was a decorator and not a painter as reported by some sections of the media, reports The Sun.

Lily Allen breaks down on stage due to pain

Lily Allen could not fight back her tears last night during a concert in Finland, but the downpour was not caused by emotional hurt but physical pain.

The `Fear` singer had hurt her back after taking a fall and had to get a painkiller injection to keep her commitment to perform at the Flow Festival in Helsinki.

But she broke down mid-concert as the pain became unbearable, reported Daily Mail online.

"I feel a bit emotional tonight and if I cry it`s not because of you but because of me," she told the crowd and continued with her performance.

Before taking the stage, the singer had wrote on Twitter, "I fell over badly last night and I`ve really hurt my back up. Just had an injection in my bum. How am I gonna get through tonight`s gig?"

The 24-year-old looked tanned and healthy when she wasn`t dabbing her eyes with a towel.

Looking svelte in a black laced camisole and skinny jeans, Lily added some colour to her appearance with a blue sequinned cardigan to match her sparkly eye make-up.

Brit singer Lily Allen has taken the pains to point out that her latest fella is not a painter and decorator, but rather a builder.Allen, 24, took to her Twitter.com page, and wrote that Sam Cooper is a builder who runs his own firm.

“Sam Cooper (a close friend) keeps being referred to as a painter and decorator, which is fine. He is actually a builder and runs his own firm,” the Sun quoted her as writing.

Cooper’s website reads: “The company was set up by Sam Cooper in 2001, starting off as a small decorating firm.”

I can’t stop smoking, says Lily Allen

British pop star Lily Allen is afraid that she may never be able to quit smoking, as she is "addicted" to nicotine.The Smile singer said she couldn’t stop smoking after she miscarried boyfriend Ed Simons` baby in 2007 even though the habit had made her feel physically sick.

Now she feels she will keep smoking forever.

"I can`t stop. I never could... When I was pregnant I gave up, and I`ve been hypnotised a few times," Contactmusic quoted her as telling a magazine.

However, the 24-year old singer knows how non-smoking pals feel when she smokes in their presence.

"Even the smell of smoke on other people made me feel so sick and ill... Ed smoked and I couldn`t even go near him because he stank of smoke," said.
