Mallika Sherawat may be going places owing to her right connection and right attitude but her feet are firmly on the ground. The beauty, who recently became the first Bollywood star to be bestowed with an Honorary Citizenship and Official Resolution by the City of Los Angeles, has not turned high-headed - yet. According to latest Bollywood news, the lady was all praises for her rival actress and other international Indian beauty – Aishwarya.

When a fan complimented her on a social networking site, saying, “Mallika, you sure are making waves ... and we all thought Ash will be doing it.” Mallika replied, “Thanks, but Ash makes waves all her own. She’s one of a kind!”

Writing about her recent honour, the actress said, “First Indian actor to get "recognition" by City of LA. Not bad, eh?”

Earlier, she wrote, “OMG! The City of Los Angeles just gave me the honour of a Resolution in my name ... What a day! Janmashtami! Indian Independence Day! Jai!”

Mallika, talking about her snake avatar in Hissss, mentioned in a lighter vein, “I look hotter as a Sssnake than as a human? Should I just get the operation then?”

But the swishy babe, who is rubbing shoulders with the high and mighty on her Hollywood sojourn, has clearly failed to take a tip or two from her foreign contemporaries when it comes to her dressing sense.Wearing shoddy, revealing black dress at the premiere of Brad Pitt’s movie ‘Inglorious Basterds’, the svelte belle has once again come in the line of fire for her drastic choice in clothes.

The event that saw the who’s who of Hollywood dressed in elegant gowns and subtle suits had our desi beauty in a raunchy dress that in her signature style was split at several inappropriate places.

And like everything else there is quite a tale behind this gross mishap. According to sources, Mallika, who has been boasting about her prominent foreign acquaintances, had flashed her plans of meeting Quentin Tarantino, director of ‘Inglorious Basterds’, on Twitter. On the day of the premiere, the actress asked her twitter fans to suggest her an appropriate dress for the event.

Her question of the day was: "What should I wear to the Tarantino premiere tonite? Would something scandalous be appropriate?"

Well considering her flesh flashing dress, it was less scandalous but more shabby. But like they say class is something you just can’t acquire, either you have it or you don’t. And Mallika clearly doesn’t!
