Katona ‘sniffed up more coke after drug video went public’

Drug shamed Kerry Katona indulged herself in more cocaine after learning that her shocking snorting video was made public, it has emerged.

It is reported that Katona was sniffing up more cocaine and repeating, "I`ve lost everything. I`m going to lose my kids - the lot!"

The News of the World quoted an insider as saying: "It`s unbelievable, but she was still taking cocaine to try to numb the pain, even after she was rumbled. All she wanted to do was get completely out of her mind.

"She was crying and saying she was going to lose her advert contract with Iceland and was terrified her ex, Brian McFadden, would get custody of their daughters Molly and Lilly-Sue.

"And she kept repeating how social services would take away her youngest two, Heidi and Max. But never, at any stage, did she say she was actually going to DO something about her problem and STOP taking the cocaine.

"It was the opposite, she was just wanting to get more and more drugs to get wasted. She was up all night Saturday (after the a news website told her about the video) and couldn`t string a sentence together by Sunday lunchtime, she was a total mess.

"And her husband Mark kept whining over and over, `We`ve lost the f***ing lot, Kez!` And he was taking cocaine, too. He`s no better than her."

Katona has publicly admitted her fear of losing her children after she returned from a holiday in Tenerife.

Katona said, "I`ve let my children down. I`m so sorry and so ashamed. I know I let everyone down - my fans, my family and people I work with."

She also said her latest cocaine snort was "a moment of weakness" due to hubby Mark’s escapades with strippers in Majorca.

"I did it because I was very unhappy at the time and thought it might make me feel better about myself," she added.

Ekta, however, hasn’t been too happy about the way India reacted to her bikini show. She says, “It’s not an easy task to attain a fit body. In India, a large number of people fail to maintain a good physique, until they start starving themselves. I think that’s the main reason why it’s a big deal to wear bikinis back home."

A confident Ekta completely believes in her actions and says, “I wore a swimsuit in front of 10,000 people here, but I didn’t feel conscious about it. It’s not about how many clothes you wear; it’s about how you carry yourself. It’s not about your attire but about your attitude. Girls here carry bikinis with the same elegance as when they are wearing a gown. In Bahamas, you can’t expect us to be covered from head to toe, it’s quite hot here.”

Standing tall and beautiful at 5`9.5", Ekta is all set to fight it out on the D-day for Miss Universe 2009 crown on the basis of her strong intellect, elegance, confidence and above all, faith in herself. Often a candidate has lost because she did not have a good answer during the question-answer round, which is why Ekta has specifically been asked by her family and friends to be really calm and smart while dealing with the questions, when twelve globally renowned judges will weigh her answers.

Venezuelan beauty Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor at the conclusion of the contest. Also, Heidi Montag will be seen taking the stage at the event, along with Claudia Jordan, Flo Rida, Kelly Rowland and DJ David Guetta.

In 1994, the gorgeous Sushmita Sen brought home the coveted crown, becoming the most popular Miss Universe from India. Her rival in the Miss India pageant, Aishwarya Rai, won the Miss World title.

In 2000, India again won the Miss Universe pageant when Lara Dutta won the crown. That year was pretty lucky for India as Priyanka Chopra and Dia Mirza also won their respective Miss World and Miss Asia Pacific crowns, making it a rare record.

Now, Shah Rukh does the longest guest appearance in a film

Bollywood’s King Khan is known to do things differently and looks like he followed that very principle when he signed on the dotted line to do a guest appearance in Viveck Vaswani’s ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’. The actor will reportedly be seen in, perhaps, the longest guest appearance ever in the history of Indian cinema.

According to reports, Shah Rukh, who was initially asked to do a guest appearance in ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ ended up doing almost an hour long role in the same, making his part in the flick - the longest guest appearance by any star in a Bollywood film.

There have been reports in the past that have indicated towards SRK being miffed with Vaswani in context to his ever increasing role in the film in question since Khan had signed the flick in lieu of his friendship with Vaswani without realising that it could become a never ending thing for him.

In the meanwhile, Viveck Vaswani has refuted the reports of SRK being unhappy with him and to clarify the same. He said, “We have not added or subtracted any scenes with SRK. We have shot exactly what was narrated to him. He has about 17 scenes and three songs, and among the three, one is his entry sequence. We still have to shoot the music video with him with the entire cast. However, ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ is not a professional assignment for SRK. He has done it as a favour to a friend, hence he is getting billed in a guest appearance as that’s the ethical thing to do. Had he charged me, then the equation would have been that of a producer and actor.”

Well, for now we can perhaps just wait and watch for the flick to release or Shah Rukh to open up on the same.

`Kaminey` takes Indian cinema beyond Tarantino, says Shekhar Kapur

Internationally acclaimed Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur is quite impressed with Vishal Bharadwaj`s "Kaminey" and says the film "catapults Indian cinema in modernity beyond (Quentin) Tarantino".

"The greatest thing about Vishal Bharadwaj`s `Kaminey` is that you cannot work out why it is working. You cannot work out why you are laughing amidst the ugliness of violence in perhaps India`s first real dark comedy. And why in the final moments of the film with the brilliant background song by Vishal himself, you finally get the point of the film," Kapur posted on his blog www.shekharkapur.com.

"With violence all around you, you sense innocence caught in the crossfire of unnecessary violence. And finally you come away with a great sense of the pointlessness of it all. It`s terrific... Vishal better think hard about how to surpass this one," he added.

A thoughtful director himself, Kapur further praised the technical aspects of the film that has Shahid Kapoor in a double role.

"The cinematography (by Tassaduq Hussain) is great as are some of the performances, the script and the editing. It is ultimately a director`s brilliant vision of the world that is playing through," he said.

The 63-year-old, however, didn`t seem to be too impressed with Bharadwaj`s idea of making the lead characters lisp and stammer in the film.

"Did Vishal have to use the idea of stuttering and stammering with the main character though? It was a little over done and the only thing that harked to a more traditional form of comedy in Indian films. The film could have done with a little less of that," he wrote.

"Kaminey" is Bharadwaj`s first commercial hit. It earned about Rs 330 million in its first weekend at the box office.

Pink eyes Australia as future home

American singer Pink has confessed she would love to stay back in Australia.

The pop star apparently made the confession while touring the country during her Funhouse concerts.

"My time Melbourne has been awesome ... I finally know my way around the city,” the Couriermail quoted her as telling Showbizspy.

“I`ve said that before but now I`m clear.

"I`ve loved this whole tour but now it`s near the end I just wanna go home and lick my dog Bubba. If he was here, I could stay here forever," she added.

Drug scandal hit Kerry Katona ‘admits she’ll die young’

Kerry Katona’s stepsister and closest confidante Pat Ferrier says that the reality TV star has admitted that she’ll die young.Ferrier also says that Katona’s got a hole in her nose because of drugs.

"Kerry’s life is out of control now. She is a drug addict. Her nose is caving in - I’ve seen it with my own eyes. She needs to get help or she’ll die,” the News of the World quoted Ferrier as saying.

"If she doesn’t change her ways and keeps on going like this she’ll be dead before she’s 30. She’ll kill herself. And I’ve told her that. Shockingly, Kerry agreed with me. She just turned around and said, ``I’m going to tell you something Pat. My mum will outlive me. I’ll die young,`` " she added.

Katona’s life is in shambles ever since her coke snorting tape went public.

She lost out on her major source of income, a lucrative 250,000 pounds deal from frozen food giant Iceland.

To add to her problems is a police probe and the fear of going bankrupt.

And now she’s afraid she may lose the custody of her daughters to ex hubby Brian McFadden.

Aishwarya`s phone crashes, thanks to `get well soon` messages!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had to weather a bigger trouble that came along with her ill health. As soon as the buzz about her flu like symptoms got around, her cell phone was bombarded with messages and got crashed due to the same.According to reports, Ash started getting ‘get well soon’ messages right after a news channel reported that she was down with something similar to swine flu and resulted in a chaotic inbox.

"It was the common flu, but for some bizzare reason every body assumed that I already had swine-flu. Whoever started that rumour, it caused my phone crash. I had done all the adequate tests and I had the common-flu. I had fever and very bad chest-congestion. By the grace of God I`m here today and back to a very hectic schedule.”

Peter Andre packs up estranged wife’s belongings

Peter Andre has packed up all the belonging of his estranged wife Katie Price from his Cypriot home.

The singer has also visited a shipping company to arrange for Katie’s stuff and his Porsche Cayenne to be sent to her in the UK.

Andre had got the 1 million-pound home in Perivolia designed for Katie, but the house has been left unattended after the couple broke up in May this year.

A news daily quoted Andre’s spokesman as saying, “It’s true Pete has packed up Katie’s belongings and is preparing to ship them back to her in the UK.

“He has had to deal with so much pain and this has been a really difficult step.

“It was not his priority but he knew it was something he had to get round to doing.

“He has taken down all the pictures of him and Katie together. None of this has been done in a nasty way. It’s just something Pete had to do so he can move on.

“He didn’t want to keep going back to his home in Cyprus on holiday and be confronted with all Katie’s things.

“And he’s also looking forward to having his Porsche back with him so he will have more room when he’s ferrying the kids around.”

"He feared passing on vitiligo - the hereditary skin condition that turned Jacko`s skin from black to white.

"His drug problems also played a major role as he knew his sperm may be damaged," the source added.

The singer’s former wife Debbie Rowe was alleged to be his ``vessel`` and carried the fertilised eggs Jackson had created.

The source said: "Michael asked many of his friends to help donate their eggs and sperm from 1994 to 1997, and then he chose two each time for his babies. Added into the mix were anonymous donors who he felt came from good stock.

"One friend he asked to donate sperm was a well-known Hollywood actor who now suspects he may be the father of Blanket. He had a unique bond with Michael.

"Once Michael decided, the names were noted and given to Arnie, who locked them away in a safety deposit box. No one knows if Arnie has looked at them."

British glamour model Katie Price`s popularity is sure going down because of her wild antics, as became apparent during a late night visit to a local Kebab shop.

Price, also known as `Jordan` was seen flashing her breasts in a nightclub and kissing a male model during a holiday to Ibiza in June and was pictured frolicking topless on a balcony with her cage fighter boyfriend during a break in Marbella earlier this month.
