Heigl beats her cigarette addiction

Actress Katherine Heigl has finally kicked her cigarette habit - she`s gone without her daily nicotine fix for over a month.

The "Knocked Up" star, 30, has been desperately trying to leave smoking after realising it was taking over her life, reported hollywood.com.

Heigl has not puffed on a cigarette since quitting in July and her health has already been given a boost. "She feels so much better," said a source.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Katherine Heigl is said to have thrown a star-studded baby shower for her co-star and mum-to-be Ellen Pompeo.

Heigl, 30, invited 25 friends, including their fellow Grey`s Anatomy co-stars Kate Walsh and Sandra Oh, to the outdoor bash held under giant umbrellas in the backyard of her Los Angeles home on August 29.

Pompeo, 39, who is expecting a daughter in October with husband Chris Ivery, was also joined by Rebecca Gayheart, the wife of her Grey’s co-star Eric Dane.

“Ellen looked gorgeous in a white summer dress with her hair in a braided up-do. She seemed very excited to celebrate with her girlfriends,” a news daily quoted a guest as saying.

`Grey`s Anatomy` star Katherine Heigl, has sparked pregnancy rumours after being spotted shopping for a baby stroller with husband Josh Kelley.

The 30-year-old blonde beauty, was spotted wearing a loose fitting dress, as she shopped at the high profile toy boutique `Bel Bambini` with her rocker husband, reported Ace
Showbiz.

The fact that Heigl was snapped sucking on a lollipop instead of smoking a cigarette during the outing adds fuel to the pregnancy rumours.

The actress has been open about her love for children and had earlier revealed her plans to adopt.

"Adoption is sort of something we`re looking into doing in the future. It`s definitely something I`m very passionate about, have always felt passionately about," she
had said.

The `27 Dresses` star had wed Kelley in a private ceremony in 2007, after dating for less than a year.
