Mystery woman in Sean Penn`s life?

Hollywood actor Sean Penn has moved on after his split from wife Robin Wright Penn - enjoying an intimate date with a mystery lady during a trip to Britain.

The Oscar-winning actor was handed divorce papers from his longtime actress partner in August after the pair had reconciled several times following numerous break-ups.

They first began divorce proceedings in December 2007 only to officially end their separation four months later.

And in April, the actor filed papers for a legal separation, just days before the couple`s 13th wedding anniversary.

They went on to dismiss the bid a month later, only for Wright Penn to kickstart proceedings again last month.

But it seems the "Mystic River" star is ready for romance - he was snapped on a candlelit dinner date with a mystery beauty at London`s Soho Hotel, reported a news website. They were seen laughing and joking during the meal, with Penn even feeding his date food from his own plate.

Robin Wright Penn files for divorce

After two false alarms, it looks like Hollywood couple Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are finally going to part ways, with the actress having filed for divorce.

The A-list couple who have had a tumultuous relationship, have finally decided to call it quits, reported People magazine.

The divorce papers, filed in California earlier last week states that the reason for the split was "irreconcilable differences."

The papers also state that `both parties have already agreed to (shared) custody of their son Hopper Jack, 16, and that "the estranged couple have already agreed to division of

all property."

The high profile couple who have been together since 1989 and married in 1996, have filed papers to initiate divorce on two other occasions.

In June, the Academy winning actor had reportedly dropped out of two big-ticket movie projects to focus on his family life.

Wright Penn was nominated for a Golden Globe for 1994`s Forrest Gump and Penn has been nominated for an Oscar five times and won twice, most recently for 2008`s `Milk`.

The singer-turned actress had ruled out any chances of a reconciliation by saying, "I hit that crossroad a while ago. I know what I don`t want."

Penn and Wright agree to division of property

Robin Wright and husband Sean Penn have already agreed on how they will divide property in their divorce, according to court records.

Wright, 43, filed for divorce Aug. 12 in San Rafael, Calif, citing irreconcilable differences with Penn, 49, her husband of more than a decade. The couple have agreed to share custody of their 16-year-old son Hopper Jack.

The couple also has an 18-year-old daughter, Dylan Francis.

Publicists for Wright and Penn didn`t immediately return e-mails seeking comment Wednesday. A message for Wright`s lawyer, Bruce Clemens, was also not immediately returned.

The couple, married in April 1996, have filed for separation or divorce twice before, only to dismiss their petitions.

Penn asked for separation as recently as April. But he later withdrew the petition, telling the New York Daily News the filing was "an arrogant mistake."

The couple met on the set of the 1990 Irish mob movie 'State of Grace.' Penn had previously married and divorced Madonna, and Wright was married once before to former soap star Dane Witherspoon.

They attended the Academy Awards together in February when Penn received an Oscar for his role in 'Milk.' But he didn`t thank Wright in his acceptance speech.

It was Penn`s second Oscar. He had won previously for his role in "Mystic River."

Wright is best known for her roles in 'The Princess Bride' and 'Forrest Gump.'

The couple has been ordered to appear in court on Dec. 17 in the divorce case, according to court filings.

Sean Penn’s wife has "no plans to reconcile"

Actor Sean Penn’s efforts to save his marriage seem to have gone in vain.

The ‘Milk’ star had withdrawn his application for a legal separation from wife Robin Wright in June and walked out of two movies in a bid to spend more time with his family.

However, reports claim that the Oscar winner’s efforts have been fruitless as Robin declares that she has "no plans to reconcile."

"They`ve raised two wonderful children. There are no regrets," the New York Post quoted her spokeswoman as saying.

Robin had earlier revealed that their marriage has survived troubled patches because it is “laid on a strong foundation of love”.

She said that they have worked hard on their relationship, which is why they could over come troubled patches, including two aborted divorce attempts.
