When Salman and Aishwarya came within ‘shooting’ distance

t would have been a scene worth watching if ex-lovers Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would have come face-to-face! But Salman Khan deliberately avoided the embarrassing situation - to the great disappointment of gossip mongers. A newspaper recently reported that by strange quirk of fate, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Ranbir Kapoor were shooting in the same premises for their respective films.

The shooting of three films were going on in Mumbai`s Mehboob Studios. Salman Khan was shooting for ‘Veer’, Aishwarya for Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s ‘Guzaarish’ while Ranbir Kapoor was busy with ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’. Eavesdroppers, journos and eye-witnesses were waiting for some juicy tale to ooze out. Everyone was hoping for the stars to rub against each other but Sallu for once disappointed all.

The actor chose to hang out with Ranbir Kapoor and completely ignored Aishwarya. Although there were stories of Sallu’s girl Katrina’s link-up with Ranbir, but he chose the actor’s company over his ex-girlfriend. The two men had lunch before going back to their shoots.

Salman even avoided meeting good friend Sanjay Leela Bhansali to stay away from Aishwarya. And everybody missed the fun…

Urvashi Sharma the one film wonder actress of Naqaab is back with two filmsin her kitty.

After appearing in the Abbas-Mustan’s disastrous Naqaab along side Akshaye Khanna and Bobby Deol, she didn’t come up with something else immediately. Well that’s because she was under contract with Kumar and Ramesh Taurani. She explained, “My contract didn’t forbid me from accepting films from other banners.”

Till then she did commercials. But now comes up with a couple of worthfulfilms. One is Chashni where she will share screen space with talented actors like Jaya Bachchan, Ayesha Takia Azmi and Raveena Tandon. And another is titled as Baabarr in which she plays a Muslim girl of Kanpur. “I’m really happy that I will be doing two to three good films soon,” said the actress excitedly.

Urvashi hails from New Delhi who found living in Mumbai tough when not having friends in the city. “I just learnt to keep my head above the tide and keep swimming,” says the Naqaab heroine.

Enrolling the idle time into gym and power yoga, the around 20 actressmanaged to wait for things to come under her favor. “I’m neither insecure nor unhappy,” says the actress.

“I’m sure everyone has a period in life where they just have to sit it out and wait for the tide to turn. Isn’t this what they call destiny?” she adds.

Esha Deol spotted publicly after a long time and guess what she has brought lots of changes in her. She comes up with well toned body. Whatever she had gained in the long disappear is really suiting her. May be fitness was her agenda during the absence. “Yeah, I do work out regularly,” admits Esha.

Currently she is working on Bharatnatyam skills to join mother Hema Malini on a pan-Asian Bharatnatyam dance tour. But what about Bollywood? “You will see me in the forthcoming films, of course. But my interests in life have been changing,” says the actress. She later added, “My priorities have changed.”

Ash-Madhuri To Judge Dance Reality Show

If things work out well then Bollywood’s two dancing divas Madhuri Dixit Nene and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen judging a dance reality show. The TV channel is in talks with the actresses. However this will happen only if their dates match. Madhuri who is coming on or off to India, may accept the offer. If this happens, we will see the actresses together once again after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas.

Kareena Kapoor is no doubtedly the most stylish Bollywood actress when it comes to style and according to her she is a fashion statement in herself.

Kareena says, “‘I have to…I’ve no choice. I’m looked at as a fashion statement. Very tiring, but flattering. Dress designer Aki Narula has set impossible standards of fashion for me through my films. Now I’ve no choice but to live up to those standards. I’ve raised the bar for fashion.”

‘It becomes tiring for everything I wear to be in the media glare. I constantly need to be well-dressed. It’s a price I’ve to pay, in more ways than one. I don’t have a choice but to have my wardrobe filled with choices.”

“Nowadays when I go abroad, I find myself spending more time in shops than holidaying. It’s a responsibility. And I do need to be chic all the time. But my being a fashion icon also depends on my attitude and mood of the moment.”

Saif apologizes to Shahid

Saif Ali Khan in the past went about bragging that he was offered the lead role in Kaminey before Shahid Kapoor, however he has apologized for making that irresponsible comment.

Saif says, “My film(Love Aaj Kal) has already worked. I don’t want to sound false, but now I realise that in the past I might have made an irresponsible comment of having been offered a role in Kaminey. But the fact is, I was not. Vishal (Bhardwaj) had just mentioned the film to me. I don’t want it to be a personal battle any longer. We are all not friends (him, Vishal and Shahid Kapoor) for obvious reasons but I do think Vishal is a fantastic director. I have only heard good things about Shahid, from others and also from Kareena. He is a strong boy. I have learnt early in life that one cannot benefit from someone else’s failure.”

Saif apparently went through a stage of inferiority complex when Kunal Kapoor did not take him for any of his flicks after Tara Rum Pum.
