After maintaining a stoic silence over her romantic alliance with the Yash Raj scion Aditya Chopra, dusky belle Rani Mukerji has opened fire at all her colleagues who dub her as a Yash Raj girl.
Though ending up with back-to-back duds with the banner, the lady has hardly left any scope for being seen as an independent actress. Nevertheless, she is uncomfortable with the fact that she is largely been seen as a Yash Raj babe and believes that her contemporaries are spreading vicious rumours about her.

Nevertheless, she is uncomfortable with the fact that she is largely been seen as a Yash Raj babe and believes that her contemporaries are spreading vicious rumours about her.
According to Rani, there have been nasty attempts by people within the industry who insist on labelling her as the exclusive leading lady of Yash Raj Films. She thinks some jealous actresses are spreading the rumours.
And coming to her quick defence are her friends, who state that the actress been reading scripts by other banners but is in no hurry to sign films just to prove a point.
She was heard telling a friend, “I won’t do anything just because it’s expected of me. My heart has to be in it.”
According to the latest Bollywood news, Rani now finds herself in the same position as she was during ‘Saathiya’ days in 2002. A daily quoted her pal as saying, “At that time, Rani had only one project, which was Yash Raj’s ‘Saathiya’. She had told friends that if it didn’t work, she would quit films. Fortunately, ‘Saathiya’ was a big hit and proved to be a turning point in her career. Now again, Rani has only one film on hand, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, which again is a Yash Raj film.”
Well, here’s hoping that ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ ends Rani’s flop series at the box Office.
