Sandra Bullock`s dating tips: Stalk a man

Hollywood star Sandra Bullock insists that the best way to get a date is to secretly stalk the man you like.

The 45-year-old actress, whose character Mary Horowitz pursues her crush in her new movie `All About Steve`, believes you need to secretly follow potential suitors to find out what they like, reported Femalefirst.

"How else do you get dates? I learned that you have to stalk and then make it look very innocent," she joked.

"Then once you get them you sort of shred receipts and you do things that sort of cover the paper trail of your stalking. I think it`s a necessary evil to sort of lure in your prey," she added.

In `All About Steve`, Mary becomes obsessed with a man, played by Bradley Cooper, after going out on a blind date with him.

Bullock also revealed she is terrible at crosswords, unlike her film character who constructs word games for a living, but loves seeing her name appear in puzzles.

"I can barely spell. I so admire people who just whiz through them. My name has been in several crosswords, so I guess that`s the only thing that really connects me. I always get the clue when I`m seven across or whatever. I get very excited, `I got that one. It`s me.`," Femalefirst quoted her telling Parade magazine.

Amy Winehouse takes tests to prove she is clean of drugs

English singer Amy Winehouse is trying to clear herself of all speculation about her drug usage by taking weekly blood tests.

The `Rehab` singer wants to prove to record bosses that she is not back into substance abuse by taking the tests, reported Mirror online.

"Amy`s passed all the tests so far with flying colours. And she may do some dates in America with the last album before she releases her new one," said a source.

Label executives don`t want anything to wreck plans for the 25-year-old star to do a delayed tour of America with her `Back To Black` album.

In August 2007, Winehouse had cancelled a number of shows in the UK and Europe, and was hospitalised for what was reported as an overdose of heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine and alcohol.

To keep Winehouse away from bad influences, the executives concerned with her upcoming shows have also hired two minders to watch over her.

"Amy has minders with her all the time, they even follow her to the toilet. Now and again she just has enough.

When she ran away from them and got on the Tube on her own everyone was panicking. Obviously with that beehive she is going to get recognised. She was fine."

Victoria and David divided over homecoming decision

All is not well in the Beckham paradise, as rumours have it that there is an impending rift between David and Victoria on whether they should stay in the US or return home.

While David is keen to return to Europe and play football, former Spice Girl Victoria is set on remaining in Los Angeles, reported Mail Online.

While the black dresses in Victoria`s signature line are flying off the shelves, she has also been the guest judge in this year`s American Idol and will be co-hosting a talk show in the US.

"It`s a very tense situation. It`s in David`s nature to please Victoria but he won`t be happy if he stays in the States. He`s miserable there and wants to come home and play for England," said a source.

But the US is a rosier place for Victoria, as her career is on a new high now.

"She wants to prove she can be as much of a star as back home. David feels he has compromised enough but she always gets what she wants," the source added.

Victoria`s spokesperson tried to pour water on the fire, saying, "There is no disagreement. David is committed to LA Galaxy while being vocal about his desire to keep his involvement with the England team."

Madonna tours Jewish holy sites in Jerusalem

The Material Girl has opened a visit to the Holy Land with a spiritual touch.

Madonna headed to Jerusalem`s Old City late Sunday where she toured an ancient tunnel near the Western Wall — the holiest site where Jews can pray.

The 50-year-old pop star arrived in a black Mercedes van and was escorted into the tunnel by police. She made no comment to reporters and was whisked away about a half hour later.

Madonna isn`t Jewish, but she`s a follower of Jewish mysticism and has even taken the Hebrew name Esther.

She arrived early Sunday for a pair of concerts this week. It will be her first performance in Israel since 1993, though she came on private pilgrimages in 2004 and 2007.

Madonna is also set to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday.
