Mandy Moore "heartbroken" over DJ AM`s death

Hollywood actress Mandy Moore is "absolutely heartbroken" over the tragic death of her ex-boyfriend DJ AM.

The couple dated in 2007 and rekindled their romance shortly after the mixmaster, real name Adam Goldstein, survived a horrific plane crash in South Carolina last year, reported Contactmusic.

The `Walk to Remember` star has paid tribute to her former beau, who was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday after a suspected drug overdose.

"I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend," Moore says in a statement.

"To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones," she added.

The 25-year-old actress, who married rocker Ryan Adams in March this year, was spotted filming her upcoming movie `Swinging with the Finkels` in London the day authorities discovered her former beau dead.

Aguilera credits husband for helping overcome past

Pop singer Christina Aguilera paid an emotional tribute to her husband Jordan Bratman in a TV interview crediting their union with helping her overcome her abusive past.

Aguilera insists it`s Bratman`s loving influence that`s helped her conquer her fears after growing up with an abusive father and she has vowed to stop the cycle of abuse since starting their own family, reports express.co.uk.

"I grew up not having any real male perspective or role model and Jordan just continuously makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with him everyday. He just exudes such love and is such a great father to Max that it just makes me the happiest woman alive. I`m just lucky to have him in my life... every couple has times when they disagree, but I never allow any arguments to escalate in front of Max (son)," she said.

The singer and her music marketing executive husband will be married four years in November this year and have 19-month-old son Max.

Neil Nitin bowled over by Delhi’s warmth and organisation

Bollywood’s latest star Neil Nitin Mukesh had a taste of the capital city one of these days. From fans to the roads, Neil has been floored.

Neil said to a news daily, “The craziness and warmth of Delhiites gives me a kick. They are totally crazy.”

“Delhi roads and traffic management takes the trophy away from Mumbai,” he said, adding, “Mumbai roads are always congested, unlike Delhi roads which are so spacious.”

Brushing aside his pole dancing rumours, he preferred to talk of his latest film ‘Jail’. He said, “I am quite thrilled about it. Madhur is an institution in himself and it was amazing working with him. I am eager to see the final product.”

Very politically correct, Nitin seems to be going the well-treaded path.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to pay homage to the 26/11 terror attack victims. The actor is to do a voice-over for an album being composed by famous music composer Aadesh Shrivastav to pay a tribute to the victims of the dreadful terror attacks in Mumbai.

According to our source, Aadesh is busy recording an album of peace to pay homage to the victims and has roped in Amitabh Bachchan to do the voice-over for it.

Aadesh says, “No one else can do justice to this album. Only Amitji can serve as the perfect common thread to all the national and international artistes who are coming together for my album.”

The project will bring together living legend Amitabh Bachchan and lyricist Javed Akhtar after a gap of nearly two decades.

Big B is holidaying in Singapore these days, so Aadesh will reportedly be flying to him to speed up things, making sure that the album releases in November - the first anniversary of the blasts.
