Bollywood star Salman Khan seems to have changed his opinion on Shah Rukh’s detention episode in the US! When SRK was detained at the Newark Airport for as long as two hours on Saturday, Salman came out saying that SRK’s detention was no big deal and should not be given so much importance. And now, in a rather contradictory statement to the media, Salman has criticised US airport authorities for detaining and questioning fellow star Shah Rukh Khan.
"Just because of few Muslims, billions of the community members face problems, which is not right," Salman said.
Until Saturday, while almost everyone in Bollywood was feeling terrible about Shah Rukh Khan’s detention, but actor Salman Khan said the most indifferent thing that could have been said at the moment! Salman earlier said, "It is not such a big deal. When we go there, we too have to go through the security check. There haven’t been any attacks in the US since 9/11 because of their stringent security measures. I think it is a good thing (the security)."
Well, Salman seems to be a little confused about how he should be reacting on an issue as sensitive as this, considering the fact that it has everything to do with his archrival SRK!
Shah Rukh was enroute to Chicago for a parade to mark the Indian Independence Day on Saturday when he was pulled aside for questioning at Newark Airport in New Jersey. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh reacted strongly to his detention episode calling it ‘uncalled for’. Speaking exclusively to Spicezee about the incident that has left him deeply saddened, Shah Rukh said, “I am devoid; it hurts your self respect. I don’t want to make an ego issue out of it but I think I would avoid coming to this place now.”
